Abrasive wheel training for trainers

Abtec Industries provides training for those wishing to train operators in the safe and efficient use of abasives. We offer two courses that can be taken on-site or at our Cambridgeshire training centre.

Course (A) is a one day course designed for those that wish to train operators and others in the safe and efficient use of abrasives used on bench or pedestal machines and on portable cutting or grinding machines. Ideal for internal trainers including supervisers and team leaders within companies, and external trainers limiting their training programme to the above mentioned products.

Course (B) is a two day course that includes the content of Course (A) but includes training in precision grinding applications, coated abrasive applications and specific training techniques. Ideal for internal trainers within companies with a wide range of grinding applications or external trainers wishing to offer a wider range of training in the safe and efficient use of abrasive wheels.

Each course is designed to meet the specific requirements and abilities of the delegates. The training is carried out on your premises or at our Cambridgeshire training centre at a date and time convenient for your company. Abtec Industries are specialists in abrasives and the training is conducted by senior staff with many years experience in the abrasive industry. Our trainers have all a 'Professional trainer certificate' from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). For available dates or for more information contact Michelle by email at training@abtecindustries.com or by phone free on 0800 027 1928.
