Questions and answers
Our training courses. Our courses are designed to meet the requirements of the Abrasive Wheels Regulations revised in line with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98) and the specific requirements and abilities of the delegates. The training may be carried out on your premises, at our training centre in Cambridgeshire or at one of our venues in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.
Our trainers. Our trainers have Chartered Institute of Environmental Health certification and are specialists in the abrasive wheel industry. The training is conducted by senior staff with many years experience in industry and commerce.
Our commitment to your expectations. At Abtec our mision is to provide you our customer with the knowledge and ability to safely and efficiently assess and manage risk when using abrasive wheels. Each course is designed to meet the specific requirements and abilities of the delegates with delegates encouraged to participate and evaluate practical applications during training. All delegates to our training courses have access to a dedicated care-line to answer the type of questions on health, safety and efficiency in the use of abrasive wheels that may arise after formal training has been completed.
