Manual handling. Manual handling accidents account for more than a third of all accidents reported each year. While fatal manual handling accidents are rare, accidents resulting in a major injury are more common, accounting for 10.5% of the total number of reported manual accidents . The vast majority of reported manual handling accidents result in over-three-day injury, most commonly a sprain or strain, often of the back.
Our training courses. Our courses are designed to meet the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MOHR) and the specific requirements and abilities of the delegates. The training is carried out on your premises, at our training centre in Cambridgeshire or at one of our venues in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.
Our trainers. Our trainers have Chartered Institute of Environmental Health certification and are specialists in manual handling. The training is conducted by senior staff with many years experience in industry and commerce.
